Located right on river Beas, Neeralaya is a very treasured piece of earth. Care has been taken to see that nothing disturbs the natural flow of life - be it in the way the resort is built, the way it functions or the facilities it offers. So spending time here is not really about whether you want to do it all by yourself, or with family or with friends. Once you understand that this place is about life as it should be, you will realise there is room for everyone.

Due to its ideal location, it particularly is a lovely place for those looking to enjoy the beauty of the Kullu valley. It is also the perfect stop-over for rest and recuperation after a gruelling Trans-himalayan journey or for preparing and acclimatising yourself for a trip to the Rohtang Pass, Leh and Ladakh.

ACCOMMODATION

Stay amidst Nature In keeping with the natural rhythm of things, Neeralaya is built using the age-old technique of timber bonded architecture of the Western Himalayas. That is why, with its stone and timber walls and stretches of green, it looks as if it has just risen up from the ground by the river. In terms of guest rooms, you can choose from 3 villas and 7 bedrooms - again all designed with recycled timber, stone and slate. Some of the rooms have balconies and access to private gardens. But no matter which room you choose, you will always be surrounded by wide rolling space, fruit trees, the forest and of course, the softly gurgling river!

DINING AT NEERALAYA

Food at Neeralaya is freshly cooked using organic vegetables and poultry raised within the property. The recipes mostly favour a simple home-style cooking using natural spices that are easy on every palate.
